Here my
review to the Signature cheese tart (Big tart) and the mini cheese tart.
First, the signature looks exactly the same with the product
you get in Japan but it actually not the same.
Pablo have modify the tart and make it an Asia variant for its outlets outside of Japan. They mentioned that this is to make the tart available to stay in room temperature longer.

The tart inti is smooth and the cheese…. is not really taste
as cheese. However, without taste of cheese, the apricot jelly layer on the top
really taste strong. For the cheese inti part that usually is soft and creamy
it turn to slightly QQ that it texture is slightly like a pudding.
For the tart layer, it is really something to praise.
Cutting through the tart, the outer layer is really hard. But when you cut out
the slice you will realize that the layer is surprisingly Thin! The tart layer
is not same with the mini tart which made out of biscuit, instead, it is a Portuguese
tart layer.
Although the tart stay in room temperature for about 5 hours, the crispiness of the tart is still there. The hardness of the tart also hold the tart well in shape even hours after bought. However, I still advise you to finish it as soon as possible.

For this serving portion, it may serve up to 4 or 5 persons.
Being a cheese tart that not really cheesy, it not really filling tough. It
might great as a dessert after meal with friends and family.
Your signature tart will come in a box and they do provide paper
bag and plastic utensils. Besides signature, it come with matcha, choco and
premium cheese tart at high price.
Comparing with the existing well-known cheese tart (TS and
HCT) this is the most expensive mini cheese tart in Malaysia.
The mini cheese tart is wayyyyyy cheesier than the signature cheese tart. The tart is designed to be smaller to fit in your mouth. This allow all the cheese to crush inside your mouth perfectly [I hate the melty cheese splitting here and here where make me so embarrassing. Finally problem solved!].

The tart layer is like a traditional tart but with softer
texture. You might need to be extra careful while holding it and not to put too
much pressure on it [Because it cost RM8.90! XD]
They only pack your tart in box if you bought 3 piece and
above. When you buying at 1 or 2 pieces, they will pack them in a paper bag
which is small and cute.
For overall review of the mini cheese tart, small, heavenly cheesy
and super expensive. Worth to try once but if you don’t really want to spend
that much on a cheese tart, competitor H have the closest taste with them [and
in bigger size. And cheaper].
But of course not only that, Pablo bring other interesting
products such as matcha soft-cream, coffee, biscuits etc.

One more thing to remind you is that, the outlet have no
tables and chairs for you to dine in. [They bought the whole unit for their
kitchen and counter. O.o] So, Grab and Go.
Regarding the line, if you really see a crowd,
you may need to ask where the end of the line. Pablo customer don’t line up in front of the
store if the line is long. They arrange their customer to queue at the area
beside the customer service of OneUtama (in front of the store). To prevent you
wait blindly outside the line, is better for you to ask for guidance. Spot the
staff in black Pablo shirt, they are the crew assisting customer in the line.
Muslim-friendly products
Lastly, Pablo seem do not own a Halal certificate (or yet)
as no Halal logo found in there counter and on the product packaging. However, a
board showing “No pork, No lard” is displayed at the counter. For Muslim friend
who are fine for the muslim-friendly food, you would like to have a bite on the
cheese tart!
Other
Friends outside KL, dont' be sad! Pablo is planning to have 15 outlets in 3 years time. May be a new outlet will be open somewhere close to you. Just be patience yo!
That’s it. Here is all I feel about Pablo. Trying or not?
Sure! Not for the taste also for trendy. The tarts are really instagramable
tough! Haha. Enjoy the tarts!
