Honey Biscuit




















Hey guys, long time no see!
Today was about to share the recipe of Honey biscuit.
I am sure that most of you tried Texas chicken (fast food) and also tasted their honey biscuits. Yummy right? I am a fans of them too. Instead of continue spending, I tend to make it my own.
Of course, I am not that self-fish person and here you can find the recipe!
 

For your convenience, I have made it into photos that you can simply save the pictures.

After tasted the biscuit, the texture was fine but baking powder play an important role as it fix the fluffiness of your biscuit. For me, my baking powder is out of stock so replaced it with baking soda. The conversion of baking powder to baking soda is as below:

3 tspn baking powder = 1 tspn baking soda + 2 tspn of cream of tartar (or white vinegar)

Therefore, I used 1/3 tspn of baking soda and 1.5 tspn of vinegar to replace the amount of baking powder in this recipe.

Besides, I found that the taste of honey make a different. Whoever love honey you can use the amount as stated in the recipe but person like me that not a fans of honey could slightly reduce the amount of honey in the recipe.

This whole process of baking will cause you about 40 min.
Junior baker could separate the recipe into half to do your first attempt so you get better adjustment of your ingredient in second attempt.
